Today is Friday , September 29, 2017. It is currently 11:24 and second period ELA. Which means I leave for third period, which is Art, in ten minutes. In Art, we have an Art History sketch over the Colosseum due at the beginning of class. I have finished most of it but I need to add more details and color but she always gives us a little bit of time at the beginning of class to do it anyways so I think I'm fine. And in Algebra, which is first period, we just checked our homework, watched a video and got a start on our homework for tonight. After fourth period, I go strait home and pack quickly and head on the road for a 6hr drive to Lubbock, Texas for the Texas Tech family weekend and I get to see my brother!

I do not agree with what General Zaroff said about instinct is no match fro reason because I don't agree with anything General Zaroff does or says because he is crazy and sick. Also because Rainsford's instincts are what kept him alive in the jungle during the hunt when he used his hunting insticts to know what's going through Ivan and General Zaroff's mind and do the opposite of what they thought what he was doing or where he was when they were hunting Rainsford. Rainsford showed reason when he knew it was his instict to get the heck out of there when he jumped into the ocean but started swimming back to the chateau because he knew that this would happen to someone else in the future so he went back to finish off General Zaroff.
Somethings I would never do are anything to do with harming my body and future. Like under aged drinking, driving intoxicated, smoking, smoking weed, doing any drugs, etc. Other things I wouldn't do include bullying and or physically and mentally harming and hurting others. Those are some of my biggest pet peeves because I know what it feels like to be bullied and made fun of so I'm strongly opposed to bullying.
But mostly, I will never give up in what I believe in and I will always believe in myself and others. Today is Friday, and I have finished some of my Algebra homework in class, and in ELA we had a vocabulary quiz. The vocabulary quiz went well and I think I got a 100! During SSR Ellington and I had a long conversation about getting electrocuted.
I am mentally strong when I am working out and playing softball. Whenever I mess up I know I can make it up and do better next time because I will learn from my mistakes and everyone makes mistakes so I'm even more confident knowing that I'm not the only one. I am physically strong when working out again because I know that 80% of it is mental strength so I know if I can be strong mentally, that I can accomplish any goal and it will set me up for success.
My first week of high school at FM9 was not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought I would get lost a lot, get run over, and not have any of my friends at the same lunch. But, none of that happened because during orientation I found all of my classes before so had no trouble the first day. Also it turns out I have a really close friend that has the same lunch and the center is open concept so there's enough room for everyone in the hallways. One of the things that has been really stressful this fist week is that I have algebra homework every night and its really hard and the class is moving really fast and we have already had two quizzes. Hopefully I will get some help and get a grasp whats going on in that class when I go to tutorials during week 2.
